Slalom Retreat week
For the 4th year running, in 2011, SkateFreestyle is running a number of slalom retreats, consisting of 4 skating days spread over 5 days. Three are held along side a competition (BattleUS in San Francisco, SkateLondon in London, BattleOZ in Australia), another is held in Miami, Florida during the week following the annual 'Great E-skate' skate event.
This year, Naomi Grigg will be joined by Natalie Ujuk of SkateFreestyle who will be hosting the retreat that is held alongside BattleUS, the USA's main competition.
Following the growing success of the Freestyle Slalom Retreats, Natalie and Naomi been further developing the structure and content of the week. Theory sessions have been re-vamped, new style-tricks are on the menu, and new techniques are in store for developing and improving skater's flow, power and ability to perform fast & fluid improvized freestyle amongst other improvements
