Belgium Slalom Retreat Week 19-25 July 2010
Following the success of the April retreat in Belgium, Naomi will once again be returning to Belgium, but this time to run an inclusive catered retreat 19-25 July 2010.
The idea behind this week is to give skaters the opportunity to enjoy a highly focussed environment with ideal slalom facilities whilst at the same time enjoying a fun holiday atmosphere.
The week begins a day after the Belgium Battle and Eastbourne Battle, allowing time for UK based skaters to travel over on the Monday 19th July and check in before the meeting that evening. The skating starting the next morning at 9am, with Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday being the learning/skating days, and Thursday being the very necessary day off.
Having dinner at 'home' each evening allows much longer 1:1 meetings with Naomi, with more extensive video reviewing and feedback. During the recent test this proved invaluable to learning and development. A long 3 hour section of the evening is now set aside for meetings.
