Private skating lessons last for 1 hour and are available during the day and evening 7 days a week when I am in London, for both inline skates (rollerblades) and quads (rollerskates). Please check the ‘Schedule’ link for my current whereabouts and availability.

Location

Private lessons take place in Hyde Park, meeting at the west end of Serpentine Road - a place known as ‘the beach’. On some weekend days, lessons are sometimes based just infront of the Albert Memorial in Kensington Gardens instead.

Equipment

Skates: Any skates will do, however if you have not yet bought skates, please don’t buy a pair of cheap £30 skates, and then spend the same amount on a lesson. You would benefit more from spending the whole £60 on a pair of the cheapest skates from a proper skate shop and passing on the lesson.

Protection: You are strongly recommended to wear some wrist-guards, kneepads, and elbowpads (in order of importance). Expect to fall. Helmets - it’s your own risk.

Cancellation

A cancellation within 24 hours will result in half the lesson fee being charged.

Private lessons & groups:

• One student: £30/hour
• Two students: £40/hour
• Three students: £50/hour
• Small private groups, including parties: £50/hour/instructor (10 per instructor)
• Packages of 4 or more lessons gives a discount, enquire for details.

UK based Freestyle courses:

• Intro to Freestyle, 6 hours: £60
• Intermediate/Advanced Freestyle, 6 hours: £60
• Slalom for Speed: £20
• Freestyle Dance: £10

International Freestyle courses vary in price depending on local currency, flight costs, and local rates. US based ‘Intro to Freestyle’ courses are all $120.
